About the Department
The Department of Civil and Resource Engineering (DCRE) is domiciled within the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment (FEBE). The Department traces its origins to the Kenya Polytechnic, where it initially offered diploma programmes. As the institution evolved into TU-K, the Department expanded its offerings, now providing undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and various short-term certification programmes.
