Development of 1U Nano satellite Model - Through funding from #Ksaresearch chair2021 we presented & launched a 1U nano satellite that provides Automated Information Services vessel tracking on boats in Lake Victoria. We hope to join the team that will be provided additional research grant to further develop a 3U satellite.

2nd East Africa Regional Workshop on Mastering Research Proposals

The Technical University of Kenya (TUK) in collaboration with Maseno University, the Belmont Forum, the International Science, Technology and Innovation Centre (ISTIC) under the auspices of UNESCO, the National Research Fund, South Africa (NRF-RSA), the National Research Fund, Kenya (NRF-Kenya), the Future Earth Africa Node, the Future Earth Africa Hub Leadership Centre and other partners will hold a 4-day 2nd East Africa Regional Workshop on Mastering Research Proposals: Integrating transdisciplinary approaches for impactful research beginning Saturday May 31, 2025 to Tuesday June 3, 2025.
