Production Unit - School of Chemistry and Material Science

Chemistry being a science for producing products that can meet market demands has been producing products since 2017. The products which are KEBS certified include general purpose detergent, hand wash detergent, dishwashing detergent.  In September 2019, prior to the onset of COVID 19, the school started producing alcohol based hand sanitizer which was approved by KEBS in May 2020. Currently the school produced non-corrosive disinfectant not based on chlorine as a response to the need of disinfection due to COVID 19.

The production unit is used as a hands-on training facility for students and the community in the practical application of Chemistry.
