Students pursuing disciplines in Chemistry, Material Science and Chemical Engineering at TU-K, have an opportunity to join Jiangsu Horizon New Energy Technology Co. Ltd, China as interns for a period lasting between 12 and 24 weeks.
Applicants will be considered to begin the internship in March 2025. The deadline for nominations is 31st January 2025.
While at Jiangsu Horizon New Energy Technology Co. Ltd, the Intern students will conduct research on polymer materials and their properties to support the development of lithium battery separators, assist in experimental design, material testing, and data analysis. The Intern students will also provide technical assistance to ongoing projects related to lithium battery materials. They will also collaborate with team members to solve technical challenges and optimise production processes.
The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) has announced opportunities for interested students to apply for consideration. The first cohort will be expected to take up the opportunities
To be considered, interested students need to register on IAESTE platform on https://iaeste.smartsimple.ie. After registration, TU-K’s International Office shall thereafter approve the registered students to enable them to apply for the available internship slots.
TU-K is a member of the IAESTE, Kenya Chapter. IAESTE is a global non-governmental, non-profit organisation, which benefits students, employers and universities through its international internship programme. This programme helps students to gain professional experience and acquire cross-cultural skills. Employers are also able to access talented international interns, who bring new impulses and insights to their business or research.
